Raspberry Pi Case with Raspberry Pi Logo. A stylish case with the Raspberry Pi Foundation Logo engraved in the top with brushed finish. Made from solid billet aluminum this case works as a heat sink to keep your Raspberry Pi cool.
This Raspberry Pi™ Case is as awesome as it is functional. Made in the U.S.A. by Barch Designs from Solid 6061-T6 Aircraft Grade Billet Aluminum which protects your Raspberry Pi™ from damage and also keeps your Raspberry Pi™ running cool by acting as a thermal heat sink giving your Raspberry Pi™ many years of trouble free operation.
The Raspberry Pi™ Case is milled to exact tolerances. This allows just enough room for the Raspberry Pi to slide down into the case. Any bigger and the Pi would be loose and any smaller it would bind up.
The pictures and video below are for reference only you will receive a Raspberry Pi Case with a Raspberry Logo Top and a Blank Bottom. The LED indicators will be engraved.
Our Raspberry Pi™ Case Has Some Great Features
Access to the GPIO port.
Fiber Optic cables that have been manufactured into the case. Each Fiber Optic cable is positioned directly above an LED. Labels are engraved next to each LED which allows you to see what activity is happening clearly.
Better heat dissipation: The case comes in direct contact to the board's heat emitting IC's and even comes with Thermal Paste.
The outer shape conforms around the USB ports giving a sleeker look.
The case is designed to wrap around the Raspberry Pi's™ ports giving it a sleek and snug look. The power hole has been enlarged to 0.45" X 0.345" to account for most plug casing sizes.
The case comes with 3 screw holes in the bottom to mount your Raspberry Pi™ to a wall, a desk, or virtually anyplace. (mounting screws not included)
Assembly of the Raspberry Pi Case
1 Bottom Half of a Pi Case
1 Top Half of a Pi Case
1 Clear Plastic Piece
1 Neoprene Foam Rubber
4 Screws
1 Allen Wrench
1 Thermal Paste
Set the Clear Rectangular Plastic in the bottom half of the Pi Case. Set the Neoprene Foam Rubber on top of the plastic.
Set the Raspberry Pi Circuit Board in the bottom of the case as shown. If the foam interferes, flip the foam upside down. The Raspberry Pi circuit board should easily slide in the case.
Apply some thermal paste to each of the 3 pillars of the top case. Just a dab in the center of each pillar should do. This pulls the heat to the outside of the case working as a heat sink where the abundance of surface area allows the heat to escape easily keeping your Raspberry Pi running nice and cool.
Place the top half of the Raspberry Pi Case over the circuit board. You will need to push gently so the top squishes the neoprene foam rubber until the top mates with the bottom. Hold it together and insert the screws.
We have a short video of the assembly and how the Fiber-Optic LED display works.
